Botnia-Atlantica 2014-2020 was an EU program that financed cooperation projects between regions in Sweden, Finland and Norway. The program was part of European territorial cooperation, also known as Interreg, where people work together across national borders to develop the regions concerned.
The Botnia-Atlantica program supported projects with approx. 36 million euros from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The projects worked with issues in innovation, business, environment and transport and could be about, for example, the development of new export products or improvement of the state of the marine environment.
