The project implemented innovative solutions for the production of biomass from waste streams on an industrial scale by using micro- and macroalgae. Because the algae absorb carbon dioxide and nutrients, there is a large positive environmental and climate

The project's goal was to implement innovative solutions for the production of biomass from waste streams on an industrial scale by using micro- and macroalgae. The project aimed to create a network of stakeholders in the algae industry in the Botnia-Atlantica region. The target group was medium-sized and small companies such as wastewater treatment plants, biogas producers, dairies, power plants and the pulp and paper industry.
