Qvarken Game Industry

The purpose of the Qvarken Game Industry project was to strengthen and accelerate the startup phase and internationalization of companies in the game industry.

The project implemented tools and business development processes for the gaming industry within the innovation system in Ostrobothnia and Västerbotten. It aimed to increase gaming companies' competence in business development and internationalization in the global gaming market. In addition, the project aimed to increase the number of companies in the gaming industry in both Ostrobothnia and Västerbotten and to promote closer cooperation for the development of the gaming industry across Kvarken.

The project's primary target group was companies in the gaming industry in Ostrobothnia and Västerbotten. In addition, the project aimed to reach and support potential entrepreneurs in the gaming industry. A secondary target group was business advisors and other actors within the innovation system in Ostrobothnia and Västerbotten.

During the implementation of the project, two rounds of acceleration processes for gaming companies were included, as well as network-building events in Ostrobothnia and Västerbotten to create international connections to the gaming industry in the Kvarken area.
