Project description

BioHub aimed to launch new business and operational models to direct material flows from forest to industries through terminals. Terminals enable improved value gained from forest biomass by having more functions than just sorting and storing. Biomass can for example be debarked, crushed and compacted to suit end user requirements better and to further improve storage and transportation properties of the feed stock industrial pre-treatments like torrefaction or carbonization can be used.
