Det öst-västliga stråket genom Botnia Atlantica regionen i ett nationellt och europeiskt transportsystem

The main objective was to create conditions for an expanded exchange between the countries in the program area by allowing the region to benefit from national and European investments funds for jointly prioritized measures in transport infrastructure at regional, national and European level.

The project aimed to describe how the strategic documents of the partnership need to be developed, prioritized and communicated to create a transport system in line with the partnership's vision and objectives. This often required investment decisions at national and European level which are often taken in fierce competition with investment needs in other regions. The project should also describe a wider geographical perspective and identify key partners for future collaboration. The result should be the basis for future project applications for the Botnia Atlantica program or other fund resources such as the Baltic Sea program.
